Community guidelines
Effective 1 November 2026
Redeem is a place to ask for prayer and to pray for others. Treat every request as you'd want yours to be treated: with kindness, discretion and faith.
Share
- A real need, for you or someone you love, in a sentence or two.
- Thanks and answered prayers. They encourage everyone.
- Only what you're comfortable with. Your request is seen by other Redeem users for 48 hours.
Don't share
- Anyone's full name, address, phone number, email, social handle or school, including your own.
- Links, adverts, fundraising requests or anything you're selling.
- Hate, insults or mockery aimed at any person, group, church or faith.
- Sexual content, threats, or content that encourages violence, self-harm or illegal activity.
- Requests that aren't prayer requests, or that try to start a conversation or contact someone.
- Gossip, accusations or private details about other people.
If you're struggling
If you write about wanting to hurt yourself or being in danger, we won't post it publicly. We'll show you people you can talk to right now, and we'll pray for you privately. See Need help now?
How we keep Redeem safe
- Every request is checked automatically before it appears. Some are held for a person to review.
- Anyone can report a request or hide requests from a person. We review reports within 24 hours.
- We remove requests that break these guidelines. A second breach within 30 days, or anything seriously harmful, stops that account posting.
- We report content involving a risk to a child or to someone's life to the police or the relevant authority.
Think we got a decision wrong? Email support@getredeem.app with your support code (in Settings) and we'll look again.
